A terrifying scene unfolded beside a busy roadside when a mother cat suddenly found herself trapped in the grip of a large lizard. The lizard had grabbed her tightly around the neck, leaving her frightened and unable to escape.
The mother cat cried out repeatedly, struggling desperately to free herself. Her frightened cries caught the attention of her two tiny ginger kittens, who were standing nearby.
The two baby cats stayed close to their mother, crying loudly and calling out as they watched her struggle. They were too small to help her, but they refused to leave her side.
Traffic continued moving along the road when a red car suddenly stopped near the frightened kittens.
The two ginger kittens immediately ran toward the car, desperately seeking help. An elderly man stepped out of the vehicle and quickly noticed the kittens’ frightened behavior.
The man followed them and saw the large lizard still holding the mother cat.
He immediately rushed toward the scene with a large stick and used it to drive the lizard away. Startled by the sudden intervention, the lizard released the mother cat and quickly ran away from the roadside.
The mother cat was finally free, but she had suffered an injury around her neck. She remained frightened and exhausted after the terrifying attack.
The elderly man quickly returned to his car and brought out a first-aid kit. He gently cleaned the injured area and applied medicine before carefully placing a bandage around the mother cat’s neck.
Her two kittens stayed close throughout the entire rescue, watching their mother carefully.
Once the initial treatment was finished, the elderly man decided that the family needed further care. He gently lifted the mother cat and brought both ginger kittens to his car.
The three cats were placed safely inside the vehicle, and the man drove them toward a veterinary hospital so the mother cat could receive proper treatment for her injury.
The kittens remained close to their mother throughout the journey, finally knowing that she was no longer trapped.
What had begun as a frightening roadside attack ended with the mother cat being freed and reunited with her two babies. Thanks to the elderly man’s quick response, the little family was given a chance to receive the care they needed and begin recovering together.
