Helen Morgun, a Ukrainian artist, provided us with a cool drawing series that we didn’t know we needed. Our favourite celebrities were reimagined as Disney characters by her. Helen has been sketching ideas for a while, and the unexpected mashups have been making the rounds on the internet.

Helen gave Hollywood plenty of inspiration, from Emma Stone as Merida to Billie Eilish as Kida Nedakh. Before “assigning” each celebrity their animated character alter-egos, it’s clear that the artist thoroughly researches not only their physical characteristics but also their personalities. “I’ve loved Disney since I was a kid,” Helen told Bored Panda. “Over the years, I’ve amassed a lovely collection of Disney cartoons and characters. And the most amazing part is that they continue to surprise me.

“I started this series with a drawing of Rachel McAdams, then I painted her as Cinderella,” the artist explained. This well-known actress is a personal favourite of mine, and I’ve always thought she’d be ideal for this role. I realised after finishing the portrait that I could make a series of drawings using a variety of famous people as Disney characters, so I began looking for commonalities. The concept sparked a lot of interest among my followers.”

“I started polling people on Instagram stories to choose between two well-known people as candidates for a new Disney character. It’s fun to watch.”

Despite the fact that she has been working on this project for a long time, Helen intends to continue working on it. “As I previously stated, I have a sizable fan base who enjoy my series. I enjoy making these well-known caricatures out of real-life celebrities. It’s like a mini-adventure every time.”
