When Quinn arrived at Alley Cat Rescue in Mount Rainier, Maryland, she was in terrible condition. Weighing less than two pounds, she was still incredibly young and fragile. Tragically, she had been dragged by a dog, leaving one of her back legs severely injured. Her future was uncertain, but her rescuers refused to give up on her.

The veterinary team initially planned to stabilize Quinn with medication and help her gain strength before performing surgery. Unfortunately, her injured leg became severely infected, creating a life-threatening situation. To save her life, the veterinarians made the difficult decision to amputate the damaged leg.

Thankfully, Quinn survived the emergency operation and began her recovery surrounded by dedicated caregivers. Although she had endured a frightening experience, her gentle personality soon began to shine through.
