Ellie Mae’s troubles began after the death of her owner, leaving her abandoned and alone. By the time she was found, she was suffering from serious health issues, including multiple hernias, muscle loss, and arthritis.

Though she still needed dental treatment and faced minor arthritis and muscle loss, Ellie Mae showed nothing but kindness, quickly bonding with both people and other dogs.
With ongoing care, Ellie Mae’s health continued to improve. The NHS is now focused on finding her the perfect forever home where she can experience the comfort and love she had been missing.
