A family decided to get a dog. He enjoyed spending time with the kids and was well-liked in the family.
The family trained the dog many tricks since he was very smart and fast to take up new knowledge. To win over mom, dad, and the kids, he went above and above. They were happy to be near to him, however.
But after a few weeks, the dog started acting strangely. Every night, he would remain still at the master bedroom door, staring at mom and dad with his huge brown eyes while the family slept off.

The family eventually turned to the shelter where they had adopted him for assistance. They spent some time asking questions of the employees there to see if they could give an explanation for why their dog acted abnormally at night.

He was never allowed to say goodbye to his prior owner, his home, or his previous way of life as a consequence. He awoke to find himself in strange and unexpected circumstances. He must have experienced terror. Even my greatest enemy wouldn’t get the benefit of them.
The poor animal was too afraid to sleep at night in his new home since he could not risk losing his loving family once again. He couldn’t sleep because of his unease over it.
