Another heartbreaking rescue involved a sick kitten named Arthur, discovered by animal rescuer Olfa Ferchichi near a busy roundabout. The tiny kitten was lying beside the wheel of a parked car, dangerously close to moving traffic. If the vehicle had moved, the consequences could have been devastating.
Arthur was extremely weak and suffering from severe cat flu, dehydration, hunger, and exhaustion.
Olfa had heard kittens crying in the area for several days but finally located him that morning.
Unable to leave him in danger, she brought him to safety and gently cleaned his eyes.
Unfortunately, Arthur needed veterinary treatment, eye medication, and parasite care. Olfa was already caring for nearly 70 rescued cats and dogs on her own and faced serious financial and emotional challenges. Despite her exhaustion, she continued helping animals that had nowhere else to turn.
