Everyone Feared This Tiny Kitten Wouldn’t Survive—But What Happened Next Was Truly Amazing
At just four weeks old, a tiny kitten named Greyson was found outside without his mother or siblings. When Kris Kaiser, a foster volunteer with Pet Haven in Minnesota, learned he needed bottle-feeding, she immediately stepped in to help.
Greyson greeted her with hungry cries, but feeding him proved difficult. He struggled to swallow formula, so Kris adjusted his feeding position and offered smaller, more frequent meals.

Despite his challenges, Greyson remained a vocal, affectionate little kitten who always made his opinions known.
Soon, Kris noticed he was having trouble using the litter box. A veterinary examination revealed constipation and additional health concerns. Nevertheless, Greyson continued enjoying his tiny beds and plush toys.
After two weeks, he had gained weight and developed a fluffier coat. His playful personality was beginning to shine, but his medical journey was far from over.
Greyson eventually moved into another foster home with Abby, a veterinary technician who could provide specialized care.
After several treatments and X-rays, the veterinary team discovered that Greyson had congenital megacolon, a condition affecting the large intestine.
His prognosis was uncertain, and his caregivers feared he might not survive the following week. However, they refused to give up on him.
Abby and her team experimented with different medications and diets until they finally found a treatment that worked. Follow-up X-rays showed encouraging improvements, giving everyone renewed hope.

Throughout his recovery, Greyson remained cheerful, expressive, and full of personality.
To help him develop important social skills, Abby introduced him to other foster cats. Before long, Greyson was playing with his new companions, sharing blankets, and enjoying their company.

Growing up with other cats helped him learn boundaries, appropriate play, and valuable feline social skills.

Today, Greyson races around the house with his feline friends, chasing toys and exploring every corner. When he becomes tired, he curls up beside them and peacefully falls asleep.
With a prescription diet and medication, his condition is now well-managed. He continues to enjoy playful adventures and affectionate cuddles.
After months of dedicated care, Greyson is finally ready to find his forever home.
The tiny kitten who once struggled to survive has become a happy, playful companion. Thanks to his devoted foster caregivers and veterinary team, he now has the opportunity to enjoy the loving future he always deserved.
