Jung Myoung Sook, 61, of South Korea, has dedicated the past 26 years of her life to the rescue of dogs. Thanks to her efforts, she has successfully rescued and cared for over 200 pups.
Despite his limited resources, Sook goes above and above by not only caring for stray dogs but also obtaining canines destined for sale in restaurants.
According to Sook, her children are not hungry and are free to play and enjoy their lives. Despite being described to by some as a “beggar-like middle-aged woman,” Jung is happy and healthy and stays focused on feeding her children.
Because of his kind and caring personality, many people have come to Sook’s help. Due to noise complaints from her neighbors, she has had to move seven times.
Dogs are still eaten as food by the elderly in South Korea. Pets, on the other hand, are gaining popularity among younger generations.
