Jaya’s life was filled with hardship before she finally found the love and care she deserved. She arrived at a shelter with her newborn puppies after years of neglect. An old injury from being hit by a car had left her struggling to walk, yet she had never received the proper medical treatment she needed.

The accident had happened about a year earlier, and the untreated injury had severely affected Jaya’s mobility. She had also never been spayed and had spent much of her life being used for breeding. Eventually, when she was no longer wanted, she and her puppies were surrendered to a shelter.
Despite everything she had experienced, Jaya remained incredibly gentle. Shelter workers quickly noticed that her physical condition did not change her loving personality. Her greatest concern was her puppies. Even though moving was painful and difficult, she continued caring for them with remarkable dedication.

Jaya’s life began to change when Jordan from KG Foundation met her. Jordan immediately saw something special in the injured mother and became determined to help her. Instead of accepting that Jaya could not be helped, Jordan searched for additional medical options.
One veterinarian believed that too much time had passed since Jaya’s injury and that there was little that could be done. But Jordan refused to give up. Eventually, Jaya was evaluated by a specialist who started a treatment program that included hyperbaric oxygen therapy and acupuncture.

Her recovery did not happen overnight. At first, there were only tiny movements. Then those movements became small steps. Slowly but surely, Jaya began gaining strength and learning to walk again.
Through every stage of her recovery, Jaya continued to wag her tail. Her happiness and determination seemed to show everyone around her that she was ready to fight for a better life.
Today, Jaya is thriving in her new home with Jordan and her other dogs. She continues to receive the care she needs and may require ongoing holistic treatment, but her life is now filled with comfort, companionship, and love.
