After the man left, she returned to check on the baby and make sure it was okay. When she was sure the puppies were safe, she collapsed under the car again. He cautiously approached her.
He stroked her for a while, then took her in his arms and took her to a waiting van. The mother dog reunited the puppies after carefully moving them to a larger kennel. The puppies were relieved to be back with their mother and started eating again.

The man is from Mladenovac, a dog rescue center in Serbia. This is a non-profit, non-governmental rescue organization that operates the largest non-killed animal shelter in the region. After driving her to her shelter, he tended to her needs for warmth, food and comfort. Men even kiss dogs and puppies to show their love and appreciation for them.
