What began as a peaceful day near the Houston Botanic Garden quickly turned into an unexpected rescue when visitors spotted a tiny Chihuahua stranded on a pedestrian bridge support. The frightened little dog was unable to climb down, leaving everyone worried about its safety. When firefighters arrived, they discovered that the Chihuahua had fallen into Sims Bayou. The little dog was now struggling in the chilly water, desperately trying to stay afloat. Without wasting a moment, one courageous firefighter jumped into the bayou and swam toward the frightened animal.
