A heartwarming rescue in New Zealand has reunited a Border Collie named Molly with her beloved owner, Jessica Johnston, after the dog survived an entire week alone in a remote wilderness. Amazingly, Molly was discovered near the same waterfall where Jessica had suffered a terrifying accident just days earlier.

Determined to bring her beloved companion home, supporters launched a fundraising campaign to pay for a helicopter search. Their efforts quickly gained attention, and enough money was raised to cover three hours of helicopter flight time. The rescue team wasted no time beginning the search.
In an extraordinary turn of events, the helicopter crew spotted Molly less than an hour after the search began. She was hiding beneath a jagged rock at the base of the waterfall, looking wet, cold, and terrified. After spending seven days alone in the wilderness, she was finally within reach of rescuers.

One of the crew members carefully approached Molly, accompanied by a specially trained support dog to help calm her. Fortunately, Molly remained still and allowed the rescuer to pick her up. He gently carried her to the helicopter, bringing her long and frightening ordeal to an end.
However, the most touching moment was still to come. When the helicopter landed, Molly immediately recognized Jessica and rushed toward her. After a week of uncertainty and separation, the two were finally reunited. Jessica was overcome with emotion as she welcomed her beloved dog back into her arms.
