Born with a heart-shaped nose was Wiley the Dalmatian.

Dalmatians are a breed of dog that are easily recognized by their appearance. They are depicted in early 17th-century paintings from that time period, demonstrating their lengthy history. Dalmatians have become more well-known as cultural icons since the release of 101 Dalmatians. It’s also simple to understand why. They are cherished as both family dogs and working dogs because of their distinctive characteristics and endearing personalities!

Wiley is a fantastic illustration of how distinctive each dalmatian is. Instagram helped the dog become well-known online as it became clear that the heart-shaped mark on the cute Dalmatian’s nose was simply too adorable. Amazingly, Wiley the Dalmatian currently has 122k followers on Instagram. Wiley’s 26-year-old human mother Lexi Smith describes him as “54 pounds of silly, clumsy, sassy, hungry, cuddly, curious, wild, crazy, foolish, happy love.”

He is my best friend, and no amount of pictures could ever do him and what he means to me justice, Lexi said in her interview with Bored Panda.

Dalmatian litter puppies typically range in size from 6 to 9. Lexi, a Colorado resident, and Wiley, an Oklahoma native, met on St. Patrick’s Day in 2018. Although Dalmatian puppies are white when they are born, by the time they are old enough to wean themselves from their mothers, they have developed their distinctive spots.

Although Wiley’s heart-shaped nose mark was very noticeable, Lexi insists that this was not the factor in her decision to choose him.

Because there were eight boys in his litter of eleven, it was difficult for me to choose. The heart was there, but because dalmatian spots change so drastically as they get older, I didn’t think it was quite formed enough to last. We already had a lot in common because, as the breeder had told me, all he did was sleep, cuddle, and eat.

Dalmatians are known for having a lot of energy, making them the ideal breed for people who enjoy being outside and traveling to new places. Wiley is also a personality overload in Lexi’s eyes!
Wiley has more personality than any dog I’ve ever met, despite having a small frame.

Wiley is undoubtedly a cuddle bug, but he is also very active in line with his Dalmatian temperament. The good news, according to Lexi, is that Wiley can easily be dragged outside to use up all of his excess energy.

Everyone has the potential to be cool, but exceptional coolness requires practice. Wiley Wiley might also be able to identify with a different Dalmatian characteristic. He strikes Lexi as being incredibly obstinate.

Lexi does not criticize Wiley or his unyielding attitude in order to prevent any misunderstandings.

Wiley, on the other hand, has been a huge success for me. I’m not just referring to the heart on his nose when I say he has the best heart. He adores everyone he meets and is constantly thrilled to meet new people. He was relatively simple to train and the ideal little travel companion for me. I adore him because he craves so much attention and is practically attached to my hip.

When they go out in public together, which they frequently do, the adorable puppy draws attention for more reasons than just his heart-shaped snout. He is currently thought to be a full-fledged Instagram sensation.
Not just because he had a heart-shaped nose and Lexi loved photography, the two of them continued:

I’ve always experimented and tried my hand at photography, and then suddenly I got a gorgeous puppy who made the ideal model. Even though I already have a personal account, I thought creating a special one for Wiley would be the best way to keep track of all the pictures I have of him and to piece together a biography of his life.

Dalmatians are described as a smart breed on their Wikipedia page:
The tasks carried out by this ancient breed are as varied as those of its alleged ancestors. They were employed in battle as border guard dogs for Dalmatia. The breed has a strong guarding instinct and is kind and devoted to people it knows and trusts, though it can be wary of strangers and other dogs.

Dalmatians excel at getting rid of rats and other vermin due to their strong hunting instinct. As retrievers, trail hounds, bird dogs, and packs for stag and wild boar hunting, they have worked in sports. Over the years, their distinctive markings and intelligence have contributed to their success as circus dogs.

Every day, Wiley is a spirited, energised person! (But allegedly only up until 9 p.m.)
Dalai lattes’ spots will develop and change over the course of their entire lives.
