Alan, a handsome year-old boxer and mixed martial artist, was born with a genetic condition that causes his nose to bend and tilt to his right when his muzzle is closed.
Alan found an abandoned poodle in Doha, Qatar, by Joanna Handley, 41, from Godalming, England. “Puppies can say whatever they want, but Alan is our dog and we know he’s beautiful and really special,” says Johanna. Alan has over 141,000 followers on social media and his posts have him over a million likes, making him one of the most famous fur animals. Joanna’s goal was to show how great her dog is on the inside, in spite of what it looks like on the outside.
She encourages people to adopt and adopt rescued special needs dogs because they are beautiful creatures that deserve love and care. “I was worried about his future and the possibility of respiratory disease, so I had him examined by a veterinarian for surgery.
