Veterinarian Soner Büyümez heard a sound earlier this week while working on a rural farm in Turkey that he couldn’t ignore. It sounded helpless, almost like a scream for aid.
According to Büyümez, “I hurried to the place.” “A landslide had taken place. I saw a dog that was underground. Only her head was visible above the ground.
The canine was in trouble. But as Büyümez would soon discover, she wasn’t only worried about her own life.”When I first saw her, it was very upsetting,” said Büyümez. He was aware that he needed to take action.
Büyümez quickly grabbed a shovel and started digging.Another sound was heard when Büyümez cleared the dog’s encircling mud. The sound was barely audible yet distinct.
“I heard the cry of puppies,” stated Büyümez. “They were underground.”Büyümez started digging again after the first dog was safely removed in order to safeguard her pups.

Thanks to Büyümez’s quick thinking, the furry family was now safe and sound.Büyümez believes the mother dog was a stray, surviving on her own in that desperate spot. But now, she and her babies will be alone no longer.
