The tongue of a dead dog became attached to a sewer vent cover in the freezing cold. When a Good Samaritan rushed in to help with the cure, the weeping dog was desperately trying to free its own frozen tongue.
When a bystander noticed the plight of the homeless animal, he rushed over and began pouring water from his bottle down the animal’s tongue in an effort to increase his temperature and liberate him.
As the man distributes the liquid gently, the dog can be seen moving around. The dog was calmed after being set free and approached the man to receive a stroking.
It’s unclear who owned the dog or whether it was a stray, and it’s also unclear if it received medical attention.
