Maggie, a 5-year-old dog, is a miracle dog given the obstacles she had to surmount to survive. She has been adopted 17 times, found a forever home, and registered as a dog.
Maggie, who was found on the streets of Lebanon almost a year ago, was found with both of her eyes missing as well as having been shot 17 times. Maggie is still a bundle of love and joy, however, and she makes new friends with everyone she meets despite the “s she has.”
The s dog was spotted in Lebanon, and someone posted a request for assistance on social media. A woman in London contacted The W A H F for assistance after reading the request. Maggie had an s. However, she had to go through s and other s before being given up for adoption and ultimately finding her forever family in Brighton, Eɴɢʟᴀɴᴅ.
Maggie, a YouTube sensation with over 248,000 Instagram followers, is owned by 25-year-old Kasey Carlin. In order to give Maggie’s Instagram account her full attention, Kasey resigned from her position as a dog walker. “She has taught me and other people so many lessons; we all know what she stands for because it was taught to us,” Kasey said. But she constantly brings them up to me. Love conquers all; don’t judge a book by its cover; live life to the fullest; serve others; you create your own happiness; and you can do anything if you put your mind to it! She constantly nags me to try harder and accomplish more.
Everyone can feel Maggie’s happiness and peace as she visits schools, nursing homes, and colleges since she recently became a dog. Maggie has earned the respect of her family members as well as Mishka, Kasey’s other dog. “I’m amazed every day by how many people are involved in her story,” says Kasey. She had been neglected for so long that the reason I chose to foster her was because no one else did. I’m thrilled that she can spread such a crucial message.
